Bliz Lures Slammer - Bunker
Whether it be bridges, or Boats, the Bliz Lures Slammer has become an extremely popular lure for those who like to employ a technique called dead-sticking, as anglers call it, which is a technique by which the lure is cast downstream into moving water whether it be a rip, or a current. Since the Slammer floats at rest, and dives on the retrieve, the current will be enough to take the lure down as it dives underneath the surface. The angler will then sweep his fishing rod 180 degrees to the left and right to sweep the lure over the existing current. While doing this, the angler will slowly let out line in small increments to slowly allow the lure to move downcurrent until it passes an area where there is structure just below the surface. Once a predator sees the lure passing from behind a rockpile, or weed structure, it's all over!
